A return is not what we need; a realization is. Life is fragile, the balance is delicate, and interconnections among people and organisms are undeniable. We needed reminding that we don't hold the reins of the world and that our place in it is precarious. Can we wake up from the clouded illusion, clear our eyes, and let ourselves see?
